Parents, thank you for involving your child in band.  Playing an instrument is fun, socially stimulating, rewarding, and yes sometimes difficult; as everything in the learning process often is! The main ingredients for a successful band experience are encouragement and patience.  Remember that each student in band has an important role to play and their absence can affect everyone in the band.  Please try to make sure that any conflicts during rehearsal are kept to a minimum and that there are no conflicts for performances.
